OK, SO NOW WHAT?
Ack! Having a last question makes me nervous - I hate endings! Maybe that's why I'm a photographer - I like for things to live on.
IF YOU HAD TO CHOOSE: BEACH OR MOUNTAIN?
This shouldn't even be a question, but my husband and I have this debate and I am FLABBERGASTED when he chooses mountain. If I could only choose one for the rest of my life, hands down: BEACH. I like mountains. I love skiing. But really. Beach. Obv.
TELL ME SOMETHING ELSE...
I had band in NYC (when I was in my 20s). And I made it through the first round of Nashville Star auditions. True story!
This is important! You want good energy around you on your wedding day and as you plan - I get that! If we aren't excited about it, we aren't doing it right. :) I try to really keep a balance between being organized with our timeline and efficient, but also flexible enough to go along with last-minute changes that come up (and they will!). I also have fun right alongside you, because the truth is that I get goosebumps and cry at almost every wedding I shoot because I LOVE being there.
I LIKE YOUR WORK, BUT WILL WE CLICK?
How would you describe your style?
I grew up reading fashion magazines from a young age. I love the edge of the editorial style of photography - and I love the authenticity of photojournalism. I like bold. High-emotion. FUN. I like to feel like I could jump into the image and know exactly what was going on. Laughter. Crying. Anticipation. Action. I keep "posing" to a minimum because I feel that my job is to document YOU and what is actually happening.
What is your favorite food?
This one is easy. It's sushi. Actually, sometimes pasta. Hmmmm...I crave steak tartare now and then, too. Mayonnaise. Is wine food? Fish tacos. Ah, I almost forgot CHEESE! Wait, no...steamed crabs with Old Bay.
Where are you based?Engagements
I currently live in LA. But NYC was my home for half of my life. And the DC areas was where I was born and raised. So, home has been a few places for me. I still shoot in NYC and DC, as well as LA. And I have a passport (hint, hint!).
